ORDERING & SAMPLES

All invitation suites are purchased securely through my Etsy shop. Each collection page on this website includes a direct link to its corresponding Etsy listing, where you can select your quantity and available options. Keeping purchases and messages together on Etsy allows me to manage your order, proofs, and communication in one convenient place.

Yes! Samples are a wonderful way to see the paper, printing quality, colors, and overall design in person before placing your full order. Use the Etsy link on the collection page to view sample availability and ordering information on the White Lace Design Etsy Shop. Each listing will have an option to purchase a sample.

No. Samples are sent with generic wedding information and are intended to let you see the design, paper, print quality and overall presentation in person. Personalized proofs are created after a full invitation order has been placed and your wedding information has been submitted.

Minimum quantities and available increments may vary by product or collection. Please review the corresponding Etsy listing for the ordering options available for your chosen suite. If you need a quantity that is not listed, message me through Etsy before ordering and I’ll let you know what may be possible.

Invitations are typically ordered per household, couple or family rather than per individual guest. I also recommend ordering a few extras for last-minute additions, addressing mistakes, keepsakes and photography. Ordering extras with your original order is usually easier and more economical than placing a small additional order later.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

CUSTOMIZATION

Most suites can be personalized with your names, wedding details, wording, and selected color changes. Available customizations vary by design, paper, and printing method, so please review the Etsy listing or message me before ordering if you have a particular change in mind. Digital proofs will always be provided for your review before printing begins.

In many cases, yes. Pieces from different collections can sometimes be adapted to coordinate with one another, depending on the design, size, paper and printing method. If you have a particular combination in mind, send me an Etsy message before ordering and I'll let you know what's possible.

Yes. Completely custom wedding invitation design is available for couples looking for stationery created specifically around their wedding. Custom projects may include unique artwork, color palettes, paper selections, layouts and coordinating pieces. Availability is limited, so I recommend reaching out early. Visit the Custom Design page to learn more.

PROOFS & REVISIONS

Your initial digital proofs are typically prepared within 2–3 business days after your completed questionnaire and all necessary information have been received. Proofing time may begin later if wording, selections, or other required details are missing.

Three rounds of revisions are included with your invitation order. Additional revisions may be subject to an additional fee. Once your final proof has been approved in writing, your order moves into production and changes made afterward may result in additional charges or require reprinting.

Please review every detail carefully, including names, spelling, dates, times, addresses, venue information, website URLs, RSVP details, punctuation and overall wording. Final approval confirms that the information shown on your proof is correct, so I recommend having another person review it before approving your design for print.

Once you provide final written approval and complete the required sign-off, your stationery will be released for production. Printing begins based on the approved files, so changes cannot be guaranteed after approval and may require additional fees or reprinting costs.

PRINTING & TIMING

Production time varies depending on the size of your order, selected pieces, materials, finishing details, and current order volume. Your Etsy listing and order communication will provide the most relevant timing information. Production time begins only after final proof approval—not on the original purchase date.

I recommend beginning approximately four to six months before your wedding. Invitations are commonly mailed about 8–12 weeks before the wedding, and additional time is needed for personalization, proofs, revisions, printing, finishing, and shipping. Earlier ordering is encouraged during busy wedding seasons.

Rush service is not currently available. Every order requires dedicated time for design, proofing, printing, finishing, and quality control. Please order early and allow sufficient time for the complete process.

Screen displays can vary based on brightness, device settings, and monitor calibration, so printed colors may appear slightly different from what you see digitally. Paper selection and printing method can also affect the final appearance. Ordering a sample is the best way to experience the general materials, colors, and print quality in person.

Additional invitations may be available after your original order, but availability of papers, envelopes and specialty materials cannot be guaranteed. Small additional print runs may also cost more per piece than your original order. I strongly recommend ordering a few extras with your initial quantity whenever possible.

SHIPPING & ASSEMBLY

Tracking information will be provided when your completed order ships. Once a package has been accepted by the shipping carrier, delivery timing and tracking updates are managed by that carrier. Please make sure the shipping address on your order is complete and accurate.

Assembly is included on some pieces—such as vellum jackets, ribbons, belly bands, liners, or inserts—but other pieces will remain separate  so you can stuff your envelope, seal and stamp. Please review the Etsy listing carefully or message me before ordering if you would like assistance determining what is included.

Postage is not included. Invitation weight, thickness, shape, envelope size, wax seals, ribbons, and other embellishments can affect mailing costs. Postage requirements are determined by the postal service.

I can provide general guidance based on your selected suite, but I strongly recommend taking one completely assembled invitation to your local post office before purchasing postage or mailing your full order. Ask the postal clerk to weigh and measure it so the correct postage and any non-machinable fees can be confirmed.

Orders are carefully packaged and tracking information is provided once your stationery ships. Once a package has been accepted by the shipping carrier, delivery timing is outside of my control. If your package appears delayed, lost, or arrives damaged, please contact me through Etsy Messages as soon as possible so I can help determine the appropriate next steps.

ETSY & COMMUNICATION

Etsy provides a secure checkout system and keeps your purchase details, messages, and order history connected in one convenient place. This allows me to focus on designing and producing your stationery while giving you an organized record of your transaction.

Please send general questions and order-related messages through Etsy or email, rather than social media. After ordering, follow the instructions provided for submitting your questionnaire and proof feedback. Keeping communication in the requested location helps prevent important details from being missed.

You’ll receive instructions for submitting your invitation wording, wedding details, color selections, quantities, and customization preferences. Please complete the questionnaire carefully and provide all requested information before proofing can begin.

To keep orders moving efficiently, timely communication during the proofing process is important. If I don't receive a response for an extended period, your order may be placed on hold. Orders that remain inactive for two weeks may be closed, and additional fees or updated production timing may apply if work resumes later. Please keep an eye on your email and Etsy Messages while your order is in progress.
